Privacy isn't a feature. It's our foundation.

NestMind is designed with privacy at its core. All AI processing happens on your device using Apple Intelligence. NestMind does not collect, store, or access your personal information. This is by design.

Data Storage

Your data lives in two places, both under your control.

• iCloud Sync: Your data syncs securely through Apple's infrastructure, encrypted end-to-end
• Local Storage: Works offline with iOS encryption protecting everything
• Your Apple ID: Data is tied to your Apple ID, not to us. We literally cannot access it.

What We Don't Collect

Here's everything we don't know about you:

• ❌ Personal identifiers: We don't know who you are
• ❌ Advertising IDs: We don't do ads
• ❌ Location data: We don't care where you are
• ❌ Your content: We cannot read your bookmarks
• ❌ Usage analytics: We don't track how you use the app
• ❌ Search queries: Your searches stay on your device
• ❌ Browsing behavior: None of our business

Data Processing

All operations occur locally on your device:

• Saving: Content is stored locally and synced to your iCloud
• Searching: Semantic search runs entirely on-device
• Organizing: Tags, folders, and organization stay local
• AI Assistant: Uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models

No third party services receive your data. No external API calls are made with your content.

Permissions

Clipboard Access

Clipboard access activates only when you paste a link. We don't monitor or store clipboard history.

Microphone (Optional)

If you use voice input, speech-to-text processes locally without audio retention. No recordings are stored or transmitted.

Security

Local Data

Local data receives iOS-level encryption, protected by your device passcode and Secure Enclave.

iCloud Data

iCloud data relies on Apple's security infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, tied exclusively to your Apple ID.
