What NestMind does not do
NestMind is designed to avoid the usual trade-offs found in many apps. There is no NestMind account, no analytics SDK, no ad network, and no backend that stores your saved library.

- No content-storage backend
Where your data lives
Your library can exist in two places, both under your control.
- On your device Your library is stored locally and remains usable offline.
- In your iCloud, if you enable sync Your data syncs through Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure tied to your Apple account.
- Not on NestMind servers NestMind does not operate a backend that stores your library.
What may use the network
A few actions may use the network, even though NestMind does not collect data from you.
- Saving a new URL may briefly use the network to fetch page metadata and previews.
- Optional iCloud sync transfers your library through Apple’s infrastructure.
- These flows are not used for analytics, advertising, or building a user profile.
Encryption and sync
Optional sync uses Apple’s iCloud / CloudKit infrastructure. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by default. Additional end-to-end protection may depend on Apple account settings such as Advanced Data Protection.

Clipboard
Checked only when you open the add flow, so NestMind can suggest a copied URL.
Microphone (optional)
Used only if you choose voice input.
iCloud (optional)
Used only if you choose sync across your own devices.
Your control
What you can do at any time.
- Delete local data by removing the app.
- Remove synced data from iCloud in Apple account storage settings.
- Disable iCloud sync at any time.
- Export tools are on the roadmap.
